Materials for watercolor classes

materials: pencils, erasers, brushes, watercolor paints and papers, water bottle, water cup, spray bottle, paper towel, painting board, and tape, and bring some of your recent artwork, if you don't have any don't do not need to be worried we will work together.

Two hour creative journey exploring drawing, composition, color and harmony, and watercolor techniques. You will be guided to create your unique artwork using watercolor paint, brush, and paper.
You will discover the joy of creating beautiful artwork from start to finish. Class is created for experienced artists and beginners also, who may be feeling unsure or hesitant about their artistic abilities

Finally, we will end up creating some beautiful paintings.Learn how to paint beautiful watercolor art as you take a creative journey exploring drawing, mark-making, composition, color, and applying watercolor techniques.
Your teacher will encourage creative expression and guide you as you discover the beauty and complexity of watercolors.
We paint from photographs as well as will be taken to plein air if students wish to go out to paint. Subject photos or subjects will be provided for every class

Hi, I’m Pearl Regmi. I Am a dedicated professional artist specializing in the captivating mediums of watercolor and oil. Born in Nepal, I pursued my passion for literature at Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, where I earned my BA degree.
For nearly a decade, I worked as a political cartoonist, contributing my insights and creativity to various newspapers in Kathmandu. My artistic journey has been marked by participation in numerous national group exhibitions since the mid-90s, where I have garnered several prestigious awards in art competitions.
I have also had the privilege of showcasing my work in solo and group exhibitions in Nepal and the United States, where my paintings have found appreciation among art lovers worldwide. In the U.S., I have received multiple awards in plein air competitions, reflecting my commitment to capturing the essence of nature and urban landscapes.
Currently, I am actively involved in the vibrant art communities of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, where I continue to explore and expand my artistic endeavors.
